Aidyn Hits the Zoo!

Aidyn hits the zoo! What a blast for the whole family. Michael, Aidyn, and I spent the week with Michael's family and what a blast! Aidyn had never been to the zoo, so we were pretty excited to show him the new world of live animals. Hands down he loved the fish and turtles, sorry, no pics of that....it was super dark in there...trust me though, he loved it.

He was thrilled with the hyenas and the leopard...very fascinated by all of it. We took a train ride with Grammy and Ben which as a real treat for us all. We definitely look forward to taking him back.

Spending time with everyone was so fantastic, and Aidyn had so much fun playing with all of you. We look forward to Christmas, where playing and being entertained can start all over again!

AppleFest!

not much in the way of apple festival images, but hey it is really all about aidyn! he sat with his bud Liam and watched the whole thing while consuming quite a bit of Kettle Corn!

Summer Coming to a Close....

Hi to all! Aidyn has grown into a small man! We have realized the summer has flown by at a rapid pace. Though we did get some time to have some fun out on the islands. These couple shots are from an incredible evening on Basswood Island. One of those nights you just want to sit and absorb everything about the lake and the islands. Michael and Aidyn discovered rocks, tadpoles, and hanging out on the dock.

The other images are from our mornings together, simple things...but good ones. He is talking a ton, that is my favorite part for sure! Singing, and has become a HUGE fan of "Finding Nemo"

So,
this has taken me too long. This summer has been crazy busy. Successful with the business, Enso Wellness Center & Day Spa, and being parents. Aidyn is keeping us on our toes, running and talking and entertaining. He is about as cute as they come! Being back in Bayfield has been incredible for him, the water is his favorite. Even the chillin' cold Lake Superior is no match for him, he jumps right in. I will post more images as we get them uploaded. These are just a sampling of the time we have had at the beach. Spending time with Family!

There is really nothing better than Aidyn getting a chance to spend time with family. Michael's brother David and his wife Tricia came up with their little boy Ben, who is only two months older than Aidyn. It was great to have those two little dudes get to know each other. Most of these shots are from Tricia...they are cuties!

I can not believe it, it actually worked! I have literally been trying to upload images for three weeks now, and to no avail would it work for me!

So here it is people, here is springtime in Bayfield. Aidyn has discovered the beach and all that is has to offer...mouthfuls of sand, endless possibilities with water...although right now at a temp probably around 40-50 degrees he does not last very long!

Hello to all my friends and family.
I wanted to let you all know I have not forgotten about the blog, for some reason for the last several attempts I have not been able to upload my images. I am going to keep trying and I will figure out a way to have you all see this cute kid of ours!!!

Monkey Business...

Spending a week in Santa Fe was a great break for the three of us after weeks of construction and hard work. I once again have to be incredibly thankful for photographer friends. Here comes the plug....she is amazing, talented, and possibly one of my most favorite people in the world! Jennifer Davidson took time out of her busy schedule to take some great photos of Aidyn and even Michael and I too! Little Boys, Grandpas & Dads!

Little Boys, Grandpas & Dads! What would the world be like without them. They all have a magic touch that impacts everyone! Little boys love their dads! They REALLY love their grandpas! For some reason Aidyn will sit on Grandpa's lap and fall asleep...when does that happen for me??? A special thing that all grandpas cherish, and should keep close to their hearts...cuz it does not happen often.

Aidyn is starting to love books, patience is extending, he will sit longer and actually sometimes listen to an entire book...not a lot but sometimes. We cherish those moments as well.

I continue to be amazed by how fast this little guy is growing! Time is flying and he is movin' and groovin' with a great since of humor and an even greater since of character.

Ever Evolving!

Once again, I feel the need to apologize for the delay in getting this post up for you all. The continual chaos of our lives pretty much seems to be all consuming and ever evolving.

Aidyn is growing strong and is definately a little boy...grunting his way through the challenges of being 1. He is almost running and is pulling himself up on just about anything he can get his hands on. He is learning sign language and it is a hoot to watch him communicate with his hands. Eating with a spoon is a wonderful learning experience as well, as you can see in the video. What a blast!

We are settling into Bayfield and continue to be buried in construction, soon to be done...we are hoping to be complete in two to three weeks. We are thrilled to be working together and can not wait to be offically open to the public.
