It is Pretty Much All About Being Cute!

There really is not much to say here, besides cuteness. Aidyn continues to grow and learn. He is getting pretty darn good at tummy time, and helps out holding his bottle every now and then. We try to spend some family time together every morning, we cherish it.

Make sure to check out the posts below, we have added some great stuff. More video to come soon hopefully.

Aidyn gets introduced to Mate!

No...do not panic, he did not actually drink any. He has been watching dad as he sips it in the morning...someday he can join in on the ritual, but for now he will just have to watch.

Adventures with Grandma Sandstrom!

Grandma Sandstrom was here this past weekend, and we all had a great visit. Aidyn got some great hiking in, and enjoyed showing Grandma Tent Rocks National Monument which is just outside Santa Fe by about 45 miles. It is always great to have family around, we can not wait for the rest of you all to come visit! Enjoy the pics....and I am so thrilled to have some video for you all. I am sure it is not that exciting, but it is some serious talkin' on Aidyn's part. Ya gotta love technology for this reason...I can not believe I get to share all of this cool stuff with all of you!! Just hit play and away you go!

Mom Hits the Blog with Aidyn

So, we were home a week or so ago, and the family was giving Michael and I a hard time that there were no pictures of mom and Aidyn....so here ya go! They are not the best shots of mom but they are cute regardless.

He is doing great, and he got to visit with Grandma Sandstrom this past weekend as well. I will be posting another post of some adventures with Grandma.

Aidyn Meets More Family!

Aidyn got the honor of meeting his aunt Mandy while we were home in Wisconsin this past weekend. We got news that Michael's grandmother had passed away so we made an unexpected flight back home. We are honored to know we got to see Grandma Schwerin on our previous visit and she was able to hold Aidyn, it was extreamely special for all of us, and Aidyn will always know the love of his great grandmother. The memorial service was incredibly beautiful and we will miss her greatly. With these times we end up sharing memories stories, and pictures, which was great fun for the whole family to laugh and remember those great times with her. We loved having that time with everyone.

Aidyn is 3 months old!!!!

Happy Birthday to Aidyn!

He is doing great! He is 13 pounds 5 ounces and 24 inches long. He is cooing, laughing, and smiling, it is a real trip!! You will of course notice...he has lost most of his great dark hair! It seem to be falling out at a rapid rate..rather humorous, he sorta resembles a mini monk.

He got his cloth diapers for his birthday, and they are GREAT! Cute as a button too! He will grow into them a bit, right now they are slightly big, but still too cute for words!

Naked Time and Tummy Time...

This is one of those times when Aidyn will get older, he will hate me for showing these pictures, but it is a my job as a mom!

He is growing like a weed, he is now 13.4 pounds and 24 inches long. Eating like a champ and starting to squeal and shout, it is so great, I can hardly stand it. He is spending time on his tummy and seems to enjoy it for the most part.

And then there is naked time. Our friends Leo and Theresa do this with their son Liam (Hi Guys!) and Michael and I thought it was a great idea, so we have created "Naked Time" after a bath, and he seems to truly enjoy being naked!

How time flies, he will be three months next week!

Family

I thought it was important to show this image, mostly because is shows such a great representation of family and how much they love one another. Once Aidyn was born I had a whole new feeling about family and its importance in mine and Michael's life and now Aidyn's life as well. The love is so strong and is so amazing to have, so I want to send out a thanks to my entire family for being such amazing individuals and such a huge support for Michael and I, even though we are so far away!

We love you all!

Aidyn's First Road Trip.....

Hi to everyone, I can not believe it has been this long. Not a good habit to get into, and I promise to be better about these updates. This one has taken me a while due to traveling for two weeks to see friends and family in Wisconsin, from which I took way too many pictures, and have been trying to decide what should go up for you all to see.

Aidyn is three months old! He goes to the doc tomorrow, but I would venture to guess he is weighing in at about 14 pounds. Growing like a weed, smiling a ton more, and he has started to squeal a lot....and he has found his thumb. He is mostly sleeping through the night, which is such a great thing for mom and dad! He is a little angel!

Aidyn had a great time on his drive from Santa Fe, New Mexico to Bayfield, Wisconsin....all 25 hours...actually he slept...he ate...he slept some more....quite an easy journey for Michael and I, and we treasured it as we know that is NEVER going to happen again.

We got to spend some time in Bayfield with Aunt Kristen and Grandma and Grandpa Sandstrom, and then down to Milwaukee where he met Grandma and Grandpa Pollack and Grandma and Grandpa Schwerin, his aunt Tricia and uncle David and his cousin Ben, tons of friends...AND he got to meet all is second cousins, and great aunts and uncles, and best yet..he got to met his Great Grandma Sandstrom...what an honor, and what a lot of work for such a little guy.

It was such a great time to be able to share with friends and family, we thank everyone for taking the time to visit with us and for all their constant love and support. There are a bizillion pictures to enjoy....we will post again soon!! I will have more to show you, this is just a sampling! If anyone wants pics let me know and I will send you my shutterfly link to order.

love and peace to everyone!

Aidyn Meets Grandma and Grandpa Schwerin!

Aidyn was thrilled this past weekend to meet Grandma and Grandpa Schwerin! They got to spend tons of time together..snugglin', lovin', and laughin'...and grunting! It appears that Aidyn loves to grunt wide awake or dead asleep doesn't matter much.

It is always incredible to have them come visit Santa Fe, having that time together is always wonderful and even more so now with Aidyn.
Grandma even got him a cute new outfit!

We are getting very excited to come back to Wisconsin in two weeks so he can meet the other family members and friends. We have always held our friends and family close to our hearts, but it is even greater now with a little one. We can not wait to see you all!

Enjoy the pics!

Who Does Aidyn Look Like??

So, we got some baby pictures of each of us when we were little, and what a kick! I had no idea what to expect since I had never seen any pictures of Michael, and MAN..take a look, they are definately father and son! THEY ARE SO DAMN CUTE! I have one of me, and I am hoping there is something there....maybe the same ears?? We think he is going to be getting my eyes...that we will have to wait and see. It is so amazing to watch this little man evolve! He grows and changes every day. He is starting to track you with his eyes, still can only see about 8 inches from his face, but he can watch you up close.

A Little Slice of Heaven....

So... there is this amazing gift given to Aidyn by my aunt Ann and uncle Jay....the "LAMBIE"...this was a lambskin blanket that is basically a little slice of heaven for him! All of my cousins had these growing up, and I always knew it was something I would want to have for my little one. I looked all over and could not find them...but leave it to my aunt Ann to find one! YIPPEE! Aidyn adores it as you can see from the pics. I recommend them to all!
